Truck and Trailer Works (TTW), the one stop shop for trailer repairs, maintenance and refurbishment is seeking to hire a number transport refrigeration engineers, tail lift engineers, trailer fitters, HGV mechanics, LGV mechanics and service advisors in a massive recruitment drive.
TTW is looking for suitably qualified individuals to join the team at its Swords depot due to recent company expansion. The Swords depot is the primary maintenance provider for the company’s hire fleet of over 300 mixed type assets, along with providing contract maintenance and running repairs for multiple large fleet operators.
With 13 trailer repair bays, two HGV repair bays, two inspection bays and a brand new, state of the art, LGV workshop, TTW is looking to recruit the best talent available to join its ever expanding team.
The primary duties of the successful candidates will be to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a fleet of vehicles. Working on a broad range of equipment, this fast paced environment is ideal for quick thinking team players, with a problem solving approach and a “fix it before it breaks” approach to maintenance.
Essential Skills and Experience
Candidates must have experience repairing and working on trucks and trailers,
experience in preventative maintenance checks, servicing and vehicle inspections,
knowledge of air braking, ABS, electrical, hydraulic systems and excellent communication and team working skills.
The ideal candidates must have experience in the motor industry with a proven track record of high quality work. Attention to detail is a prerequisite with all repairs completed to the highest standard.
These roles are full-time. The salary is negotiable depending on the experience and skill level of the candidate, and is in the range of €20.00- €25.00 per hour. The successful candidate can also look forward to bonus pay and overtime pay.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm with 20 days annual leave per annum.
