FTA Ireland’s Sustainable Transport Seminar will return on 17th October, at Johnstown House Hotel, Enfield, Co. Meath.
Minister of State Department of Transport James Lawless has been named as the keynote speaker.
The event will provide Logistics businesses with an opportunity to ask questions of the government, as well as learning from other key industry experts and networking with other industry representatives.
“Decarbonisation is the biggest challenge facing our industry, but there is still much to be confirmed and much to be implemented by both industry and government if our sector’s net zero ambitions are to be realised,” said Aidan Flynn, CEO, FTA Ireland.
He continued: “The Sustainable Transport Seminar is the ideal opportunity for operators of all sizes to come together, learn about and debate the issues which will affect our industry for years to come, as well as identifying ways for us all to achieve our common goal of a net zero future.”
In addition to the Minister’s address, the packed agenda at the one-day event will include expert briefings on issues including road safety, sustainable operations, greenhouse gas calculations and fleet operational compliance.
