The Logistics and Supply Chain Skills Week, held from March 31st to April 5th, featured a wide range of in-person and online events that highlighted the diverse and rewarding career opportunities within Ireland’s freight, distribution, and logistics sector.
FTA Ireland Chief Executive, Aidan Flynn says the week offered a valuable platform for individuals to connect with potential employers and gain insights into this dynamic and essential industry that underpins the Irish economy.
Aidan commented: “FTA Ireland, a proud member of the Logistics and Supply Chain Skills Group, was delighted to take part in various events throughout the week. These included engaging online sessions on

apprenticeships and decarbonising the industry, as well as an outstanding in-person event hosted by Declan Allen and TUDublin in the beautiful concert hall at the Grangegorman campus.”
He continued: “ We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Department of Transport, the LSCSG organising committee—led by Denise Cuffe & Lorcan Sheehan—and IPICS The Supply Chain Management Institute for partnering with FTA Ireland on the webinars.”
