Auto Trade EXPO speakers announced

The speaker line-up for the Auto Trade EXPO, which takes place next weekend, 12-13th October at the RDS, Dublin has been announced with top talent from the UK and Ireland taking part.

Popular speaker, James Dillon will get proceedings going on Saturday and Sunday morning with talks on: “How to make money doing diagnostics” and “AdBlue problems – how to diagnose problems right first time”.

Keith Walsh, a partner in MKW Training, Bosch’s training centre for Ireland and MKW Motors, the Bosch Car Service Centre in Dublin will be giving a presentation on ADAS Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, a topic that is becoming increasingly popular in the aftermarket in Ireland.

In the Big debate with Delphi, under the heading “Future Fuelling” (EV vs ICE vs Hydrogen)  Luke Garratt will discuss the power sources helping drive our industry forward.

Aidan Daly, from Fiol Oils, will give a presentation on saturday on “Engine developments from Euro 1 to Step D and the corresponding developments in engine oils.”

Simon McGarrigle also from Finol Oils will speak on Sunday on the interesting topic of: The engine oil debate – do cheaper specification oils really meet the same standards?’

Alistair Mason will be showing how Schaeffler can help workshops maximise repair opportunities with confidence. By using the tools, training and products Schaeffler provides, including REPXPERT, Alistair will discuss how you can carry out quality repairs more efficiently and professionally.

Darren Lloyd, the UK Technical Training Manager with ZF Aftermarket, will be giving a talk on technological changes in the aftermarket.

And finally Andy Cook will give a presentation on Battery Life: From Birth to Death – Cause and Effect of Battery Failures. He will also speak on how to boost your battery business, technology trends and best practice tips and tricks
