Truck and Trailer Works, one of Ireland’s largest independent vehicle repair, maintenance and hire fleet workshops, has recently secured a new long term lease for its Swords based depot.
Following confirmation of this deal, an ambitious decision was made to amalgamate two of the existing mechanical repair workshops into one location, alongside new expansion plans for further workshop repair facilities.
Truck & Trailer Works can now offer any customer within the motor industry a one stop shop for any aspect of vehicle repairs which may be required.
Currently boasting a 13 bay trailer repair workshop, a four bay HGV workshop, a three bay LGV workshop, two inspection lanes and three mobile repair units and an onsite parts department, TTW Swords has taken a huge step towards providing its customers with an efficient location capable of completing any repairs in a timely manner.
Ricky Burke of Truck & Trailer Works commented: “Our new LGV workshop is a new element of the business set up, capable of repairing any vehicle up to 5.5 tonnes.”
He continued: “This state of the art facility has been fitted out with the most up to date equipment available. From Integrated tracking systems on the ramps, air con recovery systems, tyre changing facilities to the most recent diagnostic systems, this workshop has been designed to repair any vehicle in a rapid fashion.”
TTW’s Baldoyle based Bodyshop has also been upgraded with the addition of custom built blast and spray booths, with similar motive to the Swords depot.
The objective of the works is to offer customers more options for repairs by means of additional facilities and improved efficiencies.
Ricky elaborated: “From our Baldoyle depot we offer crash and damage repair as well as painting facilities. This busy location caters for a variety of customers, including ourselves, when we are carrying out touch up works or refurbishments on our hire fleet assets.”
“We are constantly striving for perfec- tion and maintaining our brand image forms a huge factor in TTW’s success over recent years,” Ricky added.
He concluded: “When a customer sees a TTW logo attached to a vehicle, they can rest assured they have a quality product at their hands. This way of thinking is what has allowed the TTW hire fleet to expand to well over 300 assets hired out in all areas of Ireland. With the support of over 30 nationwide service partners we have the capability of sustaining the quality products we hire out.”
