Breffni Truck Run a resounding success

The Breffni Truck Run took place on Sunday through Co. Cavan on Sunday in aid of two worthy charities. More than 80 trucks assembled at Quinn Insurance, Dublin Road, Cavan on Sunday afternoon before proceeding to Ballinagh, Crossdoney, Killeshandra, Ballyconnell, Belturbet before arriving back in Cavan. The Truck Run was organised in aid of the Special Care baby unit at Cavan General Hospital and the Cavan / Monaghan branch of the Irish Kidney Association.

To round off the day, a benefit Dance was held in the Hotel Kilmore on Sunday night, followed by a Disco in the Dome Nite Club. Truckers who participated in the run, who have not returned their sponsorship cards are asked to Eamonn Corr on 087 7911437 or John Lord 2059154 as soon as possible.
